Jason Ballard is a church planter and pastor of the Way Church in Vancouver, Canada. A few years ago, he helped create and host the Alpha Youth Series. Jason also leads the Canadian Church Leaders Network (CCLN). He is married to Rachael. They have three Kids, Hudson (10), Mary (8), and Millie (6).

Megan Fate Marshman serves as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and as Director of Women’s Ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camps. She also shepherds women at Arbor Road Church in Long Beach, California. All this while finishing her Doctorate of Ministry. Megan lives in Lakewood, California with her two boys, Foster and Jedidiah.

After ten years as a youth pastor and speaker, Ben Woodman joined Jay Ballard at Alpha Canada to create and host the Alpha Youth Series. He currently devotes his time to coaching youth workers, speaking, and creating content to help make faith come alive for youth, kids, and adults. Ben has a joy and enthusiasm for life that is infectious. He and his wife, Melissa live in Vancouver. Find him on Instagram at @benwoodman.

Get ready for adventure! This year Youth Groups have the option to camp overnight during HIM 2024 Youth!

Nestled below the beautiful Koʻolaus, the camp will be an unforgettable opportunity for Youth Groups to have an immersive HIM Youth experience.

Campers will stay in cozy tents with a rustic yet comfortable feel — with separate tents for girls and guys with their adult chaperones. Shower and bathroom facilities will be available. The camp includes all meals, prepared on site.

There will be an array of activities available to you. 
Join in friendly competitions on the volleyball court or try your hand at the fast-paced Nine Square. Unleash your inner warrior with Bubble Soccer and Spike Ball. We’ll have an assortment of table games, lawn games, and classics like Corn Hole, Giant Jenga and Ga-Ga ball. Challenge your friends to a fun game or strike a pose at our Insta-spots, designed for capturing moments worth remembering.

In the evenings, gather around and enjoy the perfect environment for making new friends from other youth groups in the islands. Night Glow Volleyball offers a fun twist to the classic game — and don’t miss out on sharing your talents at Open Mic Night. 

Trained staff will always be on hand to make sure everything goes smoothly, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What To Bring: Bible,notebook, pencil, flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, warm and cool clothes, jacket, slippers, athletic shoes.

What Not To Bring: Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, vaping or related devices, fireworks, firearms, weapons, or electronic devices like game consoles.

    For the conference in general, it is good practice for youth to be accompanied by adults of each gender. Youth often want to open up to an adult about personal issues; they may feel more comfortable talking to one gender over the other.

  • Any youth in middle or high school. Come with your friends, your youth group, your neighbors. Everyone is welcome.

    1. Register. Get in for only $49 pp if you register by Feb 28. After that, it’s $79 pp.

  • While you don’t have to bring anything, we recommend you pack a bible, pen and paper, and a hoodie for when it gets cold. Pack some snacks for free time.

  • Yes. Youth groups should have at least one male and one female adult youth leader.

  • Yes. Program scholarships are available for all youth in financial need. Scholarships cannot be applied to meals. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2024. Apply online right now here.
